Unfortunately we don't have any baby news we can share with you yet - things are slow going, and nothing has been confirmed as of yet. We've taken the chance to go exploring when the weather has been nice enough (it rained yesterday, so it wasn't good for sight seeing). It's mild here - more snow disappears every day. The city is clean, and has an interesting mix of old and new architecture. We've met a number of couples at the hotel who are adopting - from the US, and Germany. It's like a little community - you can share tips on the best places to shop, restaurants, things to see etc. We've been to the grocery store, and managed to find some snacks - not quite the same as home (we passed on the tomato and mayonaise potato chips). Thanks for your continued support and prayers - we still need them!

thanks for the news.cindy and i check your blog several times a day waiting for the news.Our thoughts are with you and about you constantly and yes we will continue to pray for you both and your new arrival.Hopefully it is helpful having other couples there to help you along who are going through the same thing.

I'm sure this is very difficult for you. I imagine that the first few days there are some of the toughest - and delightful - days of one's life.We're thinking of you and cant wait to see pics of you with my bloggin friends Karen and Bob there in Uralsk!
Glad to hear an update although I'm sorry to hear that your process has been a long one. I'm sure we'll hear more once we get there. We leave tonight so I better get going here.

From what I have heard and from what you have experienced this can be a challenging process. You have come so far! This is a simple saying, but here it is: Take things one day at a time - and if some days that is too much, take it an hour at a time. Have faith, patience, and each other. May you be Blessed with all that you need at this important time in your lives. Dreams do come true! One day at a time.
